The Right Stuff by Linda Briesacher

This little foal was "the star attraction" on a recent trip through the Gondolphin Farm in Versaille, KY.  He was keenly interested in people and very friendly.  My memory of the tour through that farm is "soft and green".  We spent a couple of hours among mares and foals in the most idyllic landscape imaginable.  When I painted this I wanted to try to capture the "soft and green" but also the spirit of this baby who may be destined for glory.
