Blessed Be the Broodmares by Linda Briesacher

I am thrilled to announce that this painting has been juried into the American Academy of Equine Art Fall Show.  The painting will be available and on exhibit at the Aiken Center for the Arts in Aiken, SC from October 27 - December 2, 2022.

I've just returned from a trip to Lexington, KY where I spent a good deal of time around broodmares.  Across the board they were kind, good natured, and gentle girls.  I found a real sense of peace just watching them "be".  In this painting I tried to convey not only their beauty, the the peacefulness I found with them.
