Grit by Linda Briesacher

I am thrilled to announce that this painting has been juried into the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, TX.  It will be available and on exhibit at the Bosque Art Center beginning September 12 and running through September 24.  The painting SOLD on the opening night!  

This young woman, Tae Tae, is not only beautiful, but she is determined. She has grit. In this portrait I wanted to capture that determination and grit, but I also wanted to keep the outline soft, so I lost some edges.
